Video Performance Art
Artist Statement
I’m a self-thought artist, with training in music, non-traditional theater, dance, literature, and film studies. My art is a result of my interdisciplinary background and my pluricultural experience. I lived in 5 countries on 3 different continents, and I speak 4 languages. My roots are dispersed around the world. My work does not commit to any artistic representation. As an artist, I don’t feel the need to correlate myself with any specific style or movement. My art is my home and home is nowhere and everywhere.
Since an early age, my passion has been Theatre and Music. In my early 20s, I was introduced to Performance Art. It shifted my artistic perception 360°. For artists like me whose work cannot easily be labeled, Performance Art opened doors for unprecedented creativity while offering absolute freedom of expression. There was no way back.
I am a fearless performer and an extremely creative artist and director. My work is experimental and intuitive. It has a dream-like component to it. I consider myself an instrument through which images and sounds are made, and my art is a free expression of my unconscious self.
